Padleled Vestfold

Padleled Vestfold opened 26. June 2018, and consists of 622 km scaled paddleroutes along the entire Vestfoldcoast, from Svelvik in the north to Larvik in the south. Padleled Vestfold will help ensure that everybody can find a suitable and safe route to paddle along the unique Vestfoldcoast, through labeling, signage, the creation of the simple accommodations (Padlehuker) and other arrangements. Vestfold county council will, with the creation of the Padleled Vestfold stimulate to increased physical activity and use of the archipelago, through better facilitation for the simple and environmentally friendly outdoor recreation.

Paddlers can now plan trips that are graduated, with green, blue and red routes. It is developed 91 itineraries with routes, maps, tips, and advice on everything from parking facilities to fresh water and toalettfasiliteter. Everything is collected in a chartbook. 200 copies of the first edition was handed out for free during the opening. The final version will be available in the autumn of 2018, follow on Padleled Vestfold their Facebook pages.

Maps and itineraries will also be available in the free mobile app OUTTT in the summer of 2018. Some suggestions are already available. In the fall of 2018 it will be placed out 28 signs with helpful information at the most central starting points for the tours.
