After completing the course the participant should have learned about equipment, launch, boarding, forward paddling, turning, backward paddling, get out the system, etcetera, based on simple exercises.
Participants are given an introduction to the kayak and equipment. After completing the course, the participant should have learned to use the kayak, including paddling, pulling on and off the cover and the use of a kayak west.
The course will motivate for further training in paddling.
Lifting, carrying and launching the kayak.
Paddle forward with the right course.
Swing kayak both ways.
Walk around and get satisfactory out of the kayak into the water.
Sitting posture and good paddling technique
Introduction to how to increase security by paddling.
Knowledge of local paddling conditions.

What you want to bring.
We have all the equipment (not wetsuit / drysuit) you need for safe paddling on this course. What you need to bring is warm clothes, including an extra shift.
We recommend that you bring a drysuit or wetsuit if you have
Beverage, preferably a thermos of coffee or tea, and lots of fresh water.
Paddling makes you hungry, so we please bring a bite to eat.
Sitting or sleeping mats for use during breaks
Come in good spirits, this will help you to learn something new
Kayak, paddle, PFD and spray skirt (if you are not renting)
